Can't believe no one has posted about what a HORRIBLE performance this man gave. So fucking boring, dull and irritating. Why is he famous? He is certainly not talented and not attractive. Where does he get the gonads to continue making music?

Re: Global Warming Concert
Sun, August 26, 2007 - 5:21 PMQ) Why is he famous?
A) 1. He has proven himself to be extremely versatile in his songwriting (which also addresses your attack on his "lack of talent").
2. His band is unbelievably tight in their jams.
3. His performances are high energy.
4. His guitar work is impressive in terms of technique.
5. His voice is unique.
6. The band's career has been rock solid for over 15 years.
7. He can dance.
8. He has great vocal range.
9. His lyrics are very sound from both a rhythmic and poetic standpoint.
10. He works very hard for his fans.
Shall I continue? -

Re: Global Warming Concert
Sun, September 2, 2007 - 10:09 PMWait a minute wait a minute wait a minute.....isn't this tribe called "Dave Matthews sucks"? If you LIKE him why on earth would you join a tribe where we hate the hell out of him? Start a "I heart Dave Matthews Tribe". Sheesh.
But, for the helluv it.
1) He is NOT versatile. He is dull, boring and repetitive.
2) I am sure they are talented musicians. I just wonder why they choose not to show it.
3) I saw him in concert at Shoreline. I LAYED down and wondered what all the fuss was about. *yaaaaaawn*
4) I am sure I have never read anything about DM being any sort of guitar god.
5) His voice IS unique. And irritating.
6) How his band has continued to make money in their profession escapes me. Especially for 15 years.
7) He can dance? Really? Like at weddings and stuff?
8) He does NOT have great vocal range.
9) Oh Jesus. Please.
10) I am glad you are so happy with him. Now, please go find an appropriate tribe. And do not continue.
